Blossoms announce new album 'Songs From The Wedding Cake'

Stockport favourites Blossoms have unveiled details of their sixth studio album 'Songs From The Wedding Cake', set for release on the 2nd October, alongside the infectious new single 'Meet Me In Love'.

Following the recent release of 'Joke About Divorce', the latest track leans into shimmering dancefloor rhythms and romantic optimism, showcasing another side of the band’s evolving sound. Co-written during a creative retreat in the Lake District, the song quickly became a standout moment for frontman Tom Ogden and the band, eventually being completed with producer Shawn Lee at Tilehouse Studios.

Accompanying the single is a cinematic new video directed by Ogden, featuring television presenter Maya Jama and actor Callum Scott-Howells. Inspired by vintage Hollywood glamour and classic music television performances, the visual expands the colourful universe Blossoms are building around the new record.
