Stockport favourites Blossoms kick off their next chapter with 'Joke About Divorce', their first fresh material since the expanded edition of 'Gary'.
Produced by Shawn Lee, the track leans into the band’s knack for pairing dry wit with emotional candour. Built around a moment of badly timed humour in the middle of an argument, it turns relationship tension into something both relatable and quietly cutting; a snapshot of how quickly things can unravel when the wrong line lands at the wrong time.
The accompanying visual, directed by frontman Tom Ogden, adds a surreal twist, placing him at the centre of a stylised, choreographed performance that mirrors the song’s offbeat tone.
