Bombay Bicycle Club collaborate with Chaka Khan on 'Tekken 2'

With their highly-anticipated new album set to land later next week, Bombay Bicycle Club have now returned with one of their most high-profile collaborations to date.

The new single 'Tekken 2' sees them team up with the legendary Chaka Khan for the release, and follows on from the previously shared 'I Want To Be Your Only Pet', 'Turn The World On', 'Diving' ft. Holly Humberstone, and the record's title-track in previewing their sixth LP 'My Big Day', which is out on the 20th October.

Speaking about the collaboration, Chaka Khan said, "After Jack invited me and then sent the song, I loved it, the ethereal part drew me in. The band has such innovative and passionate energy, truly great musicians. Absolute vibes.”

While the band's Jack Steadman added, “It has been a pretty crazy journey, from sitting on my sofa messing around with a keyboard and drum machine to sitting across from Chaka Khan in a fancy L.A. studio giving her singing directions.

“Chaka was an absolute superstar and the whole experience was so positive. I think the song reflects that - it's about coming together, putting any bad thoughts aside and just enjoying the moment.”
