Bombay Bicycle Club share cover of Bonnie Raitt’s 'Two Lives'

With their highly-anticipated new EP of stripped-back versions arriving near the end of the month, Bombay Bicycle Club have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their upcoming release.

The new track 'Two Lives' is a cover of the Bonnie Raitt classic, and follows on from the previously shared acoustic renditions of 'Let You Go' and 'Racing Stripes' in previewing their new EP, also called 'Two Lives', which is due out on the 24th July.

Speaking about the new offering, singer and guitarist Jack Steadman said, “My dad introduced me to this beautiful Bonnie Raitt song on one of our long car journeys, and I instantly fell in love with the harmonies. We also felt it was a fitting title for our EP where we showcase the two lives of our songs, one that is layered and one stripped back.”

'Two Lives' will be made available to download on a ‘pay-what-you-want’ basis from the band’s website, with all proceeds going to Chineke! and Youth Music.
