After establishing herself with a flurry of impactful singles these last few years, emerging Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Bonnie Kemplay has now returned to deliver her first new offering through her new home on Dirty Hit.
The new track '19' was written during the pandemic as she grappled with growing up during an unprecedented time, and comes accompanied by a stunning new video, directed by Katie Burdon.
Speaking about the new release, she said, “I wrote 19 on and off over the span of six months. As my life shifted throughout that period of time, the lyrical content took shape in parallel to my experiences - so it ended up being about many things. There are common themes of time passing, ritual, hopelessness.”
