Bottlemoth return with new single 'Suki'

Indie-rock outfit Bottlemoth make their long-awaited return to deliver their new single 'Suki', their first release since 2024’s debut album 'Even Us Ghosts'.

Named after Ethan and Chessa’s cherished cat, “Suki” meaning “loved one” in Japanese, the track is a heartfelt ode to connection, comfort and the people (and pets) who keep us grounded. Drawing on the spirit of late 90s and early 2000s guitar music, the single leans into warm distortion and cinematic atmosphere, blending hazy nostalgia with the band’s emotionally driven songwriting.

Frontman Ethan cites formative influences ranging from Jimmy Eat World to local scene favourites Everything We Left Behind, Out Like a Lion and Blackchalk. That rediscovered spark has shaped the band’s evolving sound as they work toward their second album, with 'Suki' setting the tone for what’s to come.
