Captains Of Entropy drop new single 'Ball Under Couch'

LA trio Captains of Entropy return with 'Ball Under Couch', an expansive new single that rescues one of the standout recordings left behind during the sessions for their debut album 'The Flea & The Worm'.

Built around warm bass lines, fluid keyboard work and hypnotic rhythms, 'Ball Under Couch' unfolds with a patient, cinematic quality, allowing its playful arrangements to develop naturally. Accompanying the release is an ambitious handcrafted video by collage artist Laura Matikainen, who spent more than three months assembling a vibrant visual tribute centred on Rubin, bassist Reilly Wareham’s beloved chihuahua. The result is a dreamlike journey through memory, imagination and companionship, blending humour with genuine emotional warmth.

Recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound studios, 'Ball Under Couch' points toward the band’s next creative chapter, offering an inventive glimpse of the material that will feature on their forthcoming EP as Captains of Entropy continue to expand the boundaries of their richly textured musical world.
