Cat Burns announces new album 'How To Be Human'

Fresh off a BRIT nomination and 2024 Mercury Prize nod, Cat Burns returns with her most intimate and reflective project yet. 'How to be Human' arrives on the 31st October, a 16-track collection written entirely by Cat, navigating grief, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

Following her debut 'early twenties', this new album delves deeper, blending spoken-word reflections, raw vocals, and lyrical vulnerability into an emotional comfort record. Tracks like 'All This Love' and queer anthem 'GIRLS!' show Cat at her most open and empowered.

“This is about the last year of my life,” Cat shares. “Losing my grandad and my first heartbreak at once – I didn’t know how to get through it. This album helped me cope. I hope it helps others too.”
