Cat Power shares cover of Billie Holiday's 'I'll Be Seeing You' and a revised version of her single 'Hate'

With her highly-anticipated new album set to land early next month, Cat Power has now returned to deliver another pair of offerings lifted from her upcoming collection.

The new rendition of Billie Holiday's 'I'll Be Seeing You', which comes accompanied by a brilliant Greg Hunt-directed video, and a revised version of her single 'Hate', now called 'Unhate', follow on from her version of 'Pa Pa Power' by Dead Man's Bones in previewing her new LP 'Covers', which arrives on the 14th January via Domino Recordings.

Speaking about her take on the Billie Holiday classic, she said, “When people who you love have been taken from you, there’s always a song that holds their memory in your mind. It’s a conversation with those on the other side, and it’s really important for me to reach out to people that way.”
