Scottish alt-pop favourites CHVRCHES continue their highly anticipated comeback with ‘Overthinker’, the second single from their forthcoming album 'All The King’s Men', arriving on the 22nd January 2027.
Named BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record, the track combines the band's signature shimmering synthesisers and euphoric melodies with some of Lauren Mayberry's most emotionally revealing songwriting to date.
Exploring complicated family relationships, the single captures the conflicting feelings of loving someone who can offer comfort while simultaneously causing emotional turmoil.
Marking their first full-length release in almost six years, 'All The King’s Men' promises an adventurous new chapter for Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty, embracing indie-rock, British musical influences and a renewed emphasis on storytelling.
