Courting drop new single 'the twins (1969)'

Liverpool art-rock outfit Courting have shared their first new music since the release of their critically praised third album 'Lust For Life' (full title: Lust For Life’ Or: How To Thread The Needle And Come Out The Other Side To Tell The Story), with the urgent and emotionally cutting new single 'the twins (1969)'.

Sharp and restless, 'the twins (1969)' tackles absence and emotional residue with Courting’s signature lyrical bite. “It’s about only missing something once you’ve lost it,” says frontman Sean Murphy-O’Neill. “Filling boots, and leftovers.” Set to looping phrases and taut vocal delivery, the track spirals with tension, echoing the album’s central themes of duality, grief, and hindsight.

The new single also marks the first reveal from the forthcoming 'Lust For Life' deluxe edition, promising an expanded exploration of the album’s ambitious, dichotomy-driven world. More details on the deluxe release are expected soon.
