The Cure unveil new single 'A Fragile Thing'

With their highly-anticipated new album now less than a month away, The Cure have dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'A Fragile Thing' follows on from the previously shared lead track 'Alone' in previewing their new LP 'Songs Of A Lost World', which is out on the 1st November.

Speaking about the new offering, frontman Robert Smith said, “A Fragile Thing is driven by the difficulties we face in choosing between mutually exclusive needs and how we deal with the futile regret that can follow these choices, however sure we are that the right choices have been made… it can often be very hard to be the person that you really need to be.”
