Welsh indie newcomer The Daylight Dream has officially arrived with the release of debut single ‘Sofia’, introducing the project of songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Molyneaux.
Created entirely from a home studio in Bridgend, the track showcases his fully independent approach to music-making, with every instrument and vocal performance recorded by the artist himself before being mixed in-house and mastered by Nick Burchall at Audio Animals.
Arriving after two years of writing and refining material, 'Sofia' was chosen as the ideal introduction to The Daylight Dream’s sound thanks to its emotional weight and cinematic energy. The single combines expansive indie textures with shimmering melodies and reflective songwriting, offering a glimpse into a project shaped by both personal transition and creative renewal.
