Dream Wife share new single 'Who Do You Wanna Be?'

With their highly-anticipated new album now less than a month away, Dream Wife have dropped yet another cut lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Who Do You Wanna Be?' comes accompanied by a brilliant new video, which was filmed in an abandoned leisure centre pool in East London, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Orbit', 'Hot (Don’t Date A Musician)' and 'Leech' in previewing their third LP 'Social Lubrication', which is out on the 9th June via Lucky Number.

Speaking about the new offering, the band describe is as “about running on the capitalist treadmill and falling face first on the pavement. Hollow slogans, social media activism without action, leftist infighting, monetising feminism, 'girl boss', all soul crushing nonsense. Capitalism consumes everything. We should tear down the unreachable anxiety filled idea of perfectionism and move from hyper individualised narrative to collective action to create hopeful, rebellious, collective, systems of care. This is a call to arms for change.”
