Following on from a rich array of highly-praised and enjoyable releases these last few years, which have included three stunning studio albums, Leeds-based duo The Dunwells have now returned to unveil their fourth studio album 'Tell me what you want'.
Written and recorded across the last two years, the pair looked to make 'Tell me what you want' a remedy to the turbulent times this pandemic has thrown at all of us. With its fresh and inspiring Springsteen-esque direction, which sees them adopt a multitude of warm and enticing textures throughout, their latest endeavour makes for a wonderfully alluring listen that really strikes a powerful tone from start to finish.
Throughout their tenure, The Dunwells have always looked to adopt a sweet and inviting atmosphere to their work, and 'Tell me what you want' feels like the zenith of what they have conjured up so far. Sprawling and inventive at almost every turn, they have composed a beautifully endearing LP that looks to find the beauty in almost every scene and circumstance.
