Eades drop new single 'Outside Nothing'

Leeds quintet Eades are gearing up for the release of their second album 'Final Sirens Call' (out 18th September via Breakfast Records) with the drop of its final preview track 'Outside Nothing', a song that pulls no punches in its emotional and sonic volatility.

Rooted in their punk foundations but heading somewhere altogether more cinematic, 'Outside Nothing' explodes out of the gates with chaotic, sweat-drenched urgency, before pulling the rug halfway through, morphing into a cathartic, near-balladic crescendo. The tonal shift reflects the dual perspective behind the lyrics, drawn from both frontman Tom O’Reilly’s experience of a damaging relationship and Harry Jordan’s heartfelt words to a friend stuck in similar cycles.

It’s an emotionally fraught, stylistically restless track that captures Eades’ growing ambition and their refusal to settle into any one shape. Where debut album 'Delusion Spree' swirled with post-punk punch and the wired energy of Leeds’ nightlife, 'Final Sirens Call' looks poised to push further; heavier in places, more reflective in others, but still unmistakably Eades.
