Editors frontman Tom Smith has unveiled 'Leave', the latest single from his forthcoming debut solo album 'There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isn’t There In The Light', out 5th December via Play It Again Sam.
Described by Smith as “a bit of a breakup song,” 'Leave' wrestles with emotional conflict and quiet resolution. “There’s an acceptance that things are going to turn around again,” he shares. “It’s probably the closest this record has to a pop song in some ways.”
The track arrives alongside a striking video shot by James Lockey at Wentworth Woodhouse, a stately home nestled in the woods of South Yorkshire.
With earlier singles 'Life Is For Living' and 'Lights Of New York City' already setting a deeply personal tone, 'Leave' offers another glimpse into an album shaped by memory, solitude, and gentle optimism.
