Eyði Horsdal releases debut album 'Songs With Eva'

After establishing his sound with a wealth of rich and transportive offerings throughout most of last year, Faroe Islands-based singer-songwriter Eyði Horsdal has now returned to share his sublime debut album 'Songs With Eva'.

Channelling more of that sweet and tender acoustic-led aesthetic he has built for himself this past year, 'Songs With Eva' makes for a wonderfully warm and dreamy listen. Using little more than an acoustic guitar and his own shimmering voice throughout, combined with a sweeping poetry of Eva Perrin Fontana, his first full-length cements him as one of the more heartfelt names on the rise right now.

While he has certainly grounded himself within the new music scene these last few months, hearing all of his material in one places shows exactly how proficient he has been. With such a strong and confident grasp over his songwriting, 'Songs For Eva' marks one of the more compelling new albums we have come across so far this year.
