South London seven-piece Fat Dog have shared ‘Shit Love’, the latest preview of their forthcoming second album 'Cancel Me (I’m Tired)', arriving on the 2nd October.
The new single captures the band's trademark blend of relentless energy and off-kilter songwriting, pairing jagged synths, pounding rhythms and frantic vocals with a tongue-in-cheek look at a relationship fuelled by constant conflict. While unmistakably chaotic, ‘Shit Love’ also highlights the band's growing confidence as they continue to push their genre-blurring sound into even more unpredictable territory.
The track follows previous singles ‘Cancel Me (I’m Tired)’ and ‘Go Fuck Urself’, building anticipation for an album that promises to expand on the adventurous spirit of their acclaimed 2024 debut 'WOOF'. Blending elements of electro-pop, punk, rave and psychedelia, the record reflects a whirlwind period for the band following extensive international touring and a rapidly growing fanbase.
