Father John Misty shares new single 'The Old Law'

Father John Misty has shared a new track 'The Old Law' via Sub Pop. Produced by Drew Erickson and Josh Tillman, and mixed at Fivestar Studios in Los Angeles, the song was previously known to fans under the live title 'God’s Trash' and first debuted during his 2024 tour performances.

'The Old Law' arrives as anticipation builds for Misty’s Mahashmashana tour, which begins its Western US leg on the 23rd March in Ventura, CA. The run includes two-night stints at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre (24-25 Mar) and Seattle’s Paramount Theatre (3-4 Apr), plus a headline slot at Boise’s Treefort Festival on the 29th March.

In June, Misty heads across the Atlantic for a two-week UK & European tour, beginning 1st June in Lisbon and wrapping on the 14th June at Beyond The Pale Festival in Wicklow, Ireland.
