After delighting us with a fresh and enticing array of releases these last few years, Halifax-based outfit Firesites are back at it once again as they deliver their shimmering new groove 'Home Again'.
Teaming up with LYRAS’ Ada Grace Francis for the release, 'Home Again' continues their rich and effervescent approach to the psych-rock sound. Filled with warm and sweeping textures, an uplifting atmosphere, and some brilliantly alluring hooks layered throughout, their newest offering makes for a brilliantly riveting listen from start to finish.
While originally the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Tom Waterworth, this more collaborative direction he has taken here really elevates the sound Firesites have been producing. With such a bold and enigmatic direction that blends elements of jazz and synth-pop amongst its driven aesthetic, they are certainly ones worth keeping a firm eye on for the future.
