After emerging with their breakthrough singles 'The Abduction' and 'The Assistant' right in the midst of the pandemic, Oxford-based outfit In-Flight Movie have now returned to deliver their first offering of this year, 'Promises'.
Lifted from their forthcoming debut album, which is set to arrive later this year, 'Promises' sees the group continue to grow the broad and anthemic post-punk aesthetic that was cultivated in their original efforts. Bringing back more of that synth-laden sound they are known for, blended with a raw and driven punk sound throughout, their newest release sees them as a fresh and inventive act emerging right now.
With notable nods to the likes of Interpol, The Horrors, and Doves with its euphoric textures, 'Promises' makes a bold introduction to what we can expect from their upcoming full-length. They have this thunderous power running throughout their latest gem, brimming with unbridled potential that we can't wait to hear more of.
