Following on from the release of their highly-praised 2022 LP 'Skinty Fia', Fontaines D.C. have now announced their plans for a new studio album, arriving later this year.
The new full-length 'ROMANCE' is being previewed by the new James Ford-produced single 'Starburster', which comes accompanied by a brilliant Aube Perrie-directed video, and is set to be released on the 23rd August via their new home on XL Recordings.
Speaking about the new record, the band's Conor Deegan said, “We’ve always had this sense of idealism and romance. Each album gets further away from observing that through the lens of Ireland, as directly as Dogrel. The second album is about that detachment, and the third is about Irishness dislocated in the diaspora. Now we look to where and what else there is to be romantic about.”
