Fountain turn up the heat on new single

There’s a fine line between attraction and obsession, and Northampton duo Fountain are keen to blur it on their latest single, ‘Every Single Drop’. Out now, the track finds the pair leaning into the sleazier side of their sound, delivering a punchy slice of garage rock that thrives on tension, attitude and an infectious sense of momentum.

Rather than overcomplicate things, Fountain keep the energy direct and immediate. Jagged guitar lines and driving drums provide the backbone, while Jordan Noon’s vocal delivery brings a swagger that feels equal parts playful and provocative. Produced by Lee Russell, the single builds on the momentum of recent release ‘It’s Ordinary’, pushing the duo’s blend of alternative rock and indie sensibilities into more uninhibited territory.

The band describe the track as an attempt to soundtrack a night of lust, where the promise of romance gives way to something considerably more carnal. It’s a premise that fits neatly with Fountain’s instinct for music that feels raw, physical and a little unpredictable.

Since forming in 2023, Fountain — completed by drummer and backing vocalist Alistair Wilkinson alongside Noon — have steadily built a name for themselves through energetic live shows and a growing presence across the UK alternative circuit. With influences spanning the abrasive garage rock of The OSEES and the riff-heavy swagger of Queens of the Stone Age to the cinematic textures of Ennio Morricone, Fountain aren't afraid to pull from different corners of the musical landscape. On ‘Every Single Drop’, those influences meet in a track that favours instinct over polish, leaving the duo sounding confident, confrontational and entirely at home in their own chaos.
