Dublin’s rising rock force Big Sleep are back with their explosive new single 'Don’t You Wanna'. Produced and mixed by Chris W Ryan (NewDad, Just Mustard, Cardinals), the track channels the band’s signature urgency into a fuzz-soaked anthem built for the stage, the kind of cathartic release that has already made their live shows unmissable across Europe.
Formed by Rónán Connolly, Matteo Poli, Aidan Gray, and Naiara Clarke Lafuente, Big Sleep have been carving their path since their 2022 debut EP, steadily building a reputation for their sharp-edged fusion of alternative, pop, and rock. With nods to The Cure, Pixies, and Big Thief, their sound thrives on vivid hooks, electric chemistry, and a restless creative spirit. In just two years, they’ve sold out shows from Dublin to Berlin, landed festival slots at All Together Now, Electric Picnic, Latitude and beyond, and been hailed as one of RTÉ’s Rising Artists of 2024.
Now, with 'Don’t You Wanna' lighting the way, Big Sleep are gearing up for a 13-date Winter European tour, bringing their blistering energy to London, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, and more. So we caught up with them tomorrow discuss their origins and influences over the years.
