Berkshire alt-rock duo Black Prussia return with a bold and high-octane reinterpretation of ‘Love Story’, originally by Taylor Swift, flipping the iconic folk-pop anthem into something raw, heavy, and entirely their own. Known for their riotous energy and punchy production, the band inject new life into the familiar, transforming the track into a guitar-driven powerhouse.
Opening with chugging riffs and a gritty vocal delivery, ‘Love Story’ quickly sheds its original softness, building into a layered, distortion-soaked arrangement complete with a blistering guitar solo. It’s a reinvention that doesn’t just rework the song—it reframes it, pushing it into a harder, more aggressive sonic territory while retaining its core emotional pull.
So with the new single out now, we sat down with them to find out more about their origins and what has been inspiring them most over the years.
