What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

The first instrument I fell in love with was the piano.

What kind of music did you love when you were younger?

I loved listening to Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears.

What was the first album you remember owning?

I think it was In the Zone by Britney Spears.

What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?

That would be Thriller by Michael Jackson because it's so iconic, energetic and it has a whole specific dance routine. It's a whole world in it's own.

Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?

I'm a very visual person so I just picture myself in a certain situation and go from there. Lyrics and Melodies will just pop up in my head and when the idea is good, I continue to write a whole song. I draw a lot of inspiration from memories or fantasies. It's cool to find a way to cope with your emotional world through music.

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

I've been listening to a variety of different Hip Hop artists and Mariah Carey, love her voice!

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

Probably The Weeknd.

What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?

Having people like my singing voice and connect with my lyrics and artistry. It's nice giving people a piece of me in that sense.

And what is the most frustrating part?

At this point in my career, I don't really have any complaints. I'm exited about every little thing.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Be nice, humble, brave and work hard.
