London-based artist NOAH is building a sound that refuses to be confined by borders. Drawing on his Ethiopian heritage while blending Brazilian funk, amapiano, gqom and contemporary EDM-pop, he creates music designed to unite people through rhythm, energy and celebration.
His latest single 'MOVE YA BODY' is the perfect embodiment of that philosophy. Bursting with infectious hooks and festival-ready production, the track is a carefree invitation to embrace confidence, dance without inhibition and live fully in the moment. What began as a playful chant quickly evolved into a vibrant anthem, reflecting NOAH's instinct for transforming simple ideas into unforgettable songs.
So with the new single out now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has been inspiring him most over the years.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
The first instrument I fell in love with was my voice, I would sing in nature and I loved to experiment with sounds and imitate instruments, the violin, electronic guitar, tuba. I’m also a self taught piano player (I later on when I got older got piano lessons).
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
I loved everything. I loved Bob Marley, Nina Simone, fairuz, Michael Jackson and all the classics.
What was the first album you remember owning?
I come from a more digital era so I don’t remember the first album I owned but the first vinyl I’ve ever received was Tina turner private dancer.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
One love by Bob Marley
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
It’s always scattered and there is no ritual, I have a policy that whenever I get an idea that I act on it, whether it’s a melody, a lyric or just a concept, I write it down and make sure I don’t lose it. I love dreaming up worlds and concepts while writing, I’ve always loved chants which is why most of my songs are chant based.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Sade, Janet Jackson and Stevie Nicks
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
If Michael Jackson was still alive I’d open for him, I’d also love to open for Beyonce.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
The most rewarding thing as a musician is having that child like creativity that you can always go back to no matter how old you are , there’s always a child like wonder when I’m creating , so the most rewarding thing to me as a musician is in the process, creating melodies, ideas , conceptualising visuals etc.
And what is the most frustrating part?
The most frustrating part for me at the moment is marketing. I have a certain vision for marketing and when it doesn’t work exactly how I want it to, it gets a little frustrating.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
Create like a child , edit like a scientist ( which means create with freedom, don’t worry what works for the public and what doesn’t, after your done creating, you can come back to it and edit it like a scientist).
