What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

My guitar! It’s the first instrument I picked up.

What kind of music did you love when you were younger?

I listened to all different types of genres which could range from Pop, Hip Hop, RnB to Indie Folk Acoustic.

What was the first album you remember owning?

An album from the Icelandic band called Retro Stefson which I still listen to this day whenever I feel homesick.

What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?

Bohemian Rhapsody. Every structure and sound in that track is truly genius. Freddie Mercury is a rare breed.

Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?

That would be nice to have to get myself started, but unfortunately I do not, I just mess around with my synths, piano or guitar and work from there.

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

Right now I am listening a lot to Labrinth and Dominic Fike. I saw them play live at Coachella and I have been such a fan since then.

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

Frank Ocean, one of my biggest inspirations. If not him, I would say Rex Orange County or Lauv.

What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?

When people tell me how much they love my music! Especially when the listeners know the lyrics to my songs, it's the best feeling.

And what is the most frustrating part?

The most frustrating part is, as a musician, you are always so overly critical about your own music that sometimes it ruins your motivation to create songs.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Keep making music and finish the songs no matter what. It took me a while to really understand why but you will go a long way if you do this.
