Following on from a flurry of fresh and exciting cuts over the last few months, emerging artist SINNAH recently returned to deliver her vibrant new single 'Exist Loud'.
Lifted from her new EP of the same name, 'Exist Loud' makes for a wonderfully rich and powerful listen. Channelling more of the broad and shimmering alt-pop direction she has been building for herself, this glittering new offering marks one of the more alluring and captivating releases over her tenure to date.
So with the new single doing the rounds, we sat down with her to find out more about her origins and what has inspired her most over the years.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Piano. I´ve always written my songs on piano because it hurts my fingers too badly when I try to conquer a guitar…
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
I've always been a pop-girl!!
What was the first album you remember owning?
“The ABBA generation by A-Teens”.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
Halo by Beyonce. BEST SONG EVER.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
Not really. I usually just sit by the piano and a melody or some part of the lyrics just hits me. I don’t like to push it too much, so I just take a break and continue later.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Zara Larsson, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Julia Michaels, Tayla Parx, Ellie Goulding, Leona Lewis, Laleh, Molly Sandén, Dagny, Dylan – Who run the world?
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
Taylor Swift.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
The positive messages and all the love from people around the world.
And what is the most frustrating part?
When you have finished a song - you just want to get it out there! But everything always takes a lot more time than you imagine. All steps from writing the song, to recording it, mixing and mastering. Finding a way to release it and people who wants to work with it. The press-process and all those important steps before a release – It's A wonderful journey but it always takes a lot of time! That's always frustrating.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
Don't let negative people turn you into one of them! And don´t wait until you´re ready. Cause then you'll be waiting for the rest of your life.
