Getting To Know... Tamara S

Leeds-based R&B artist Tamara S returns with her latest single 'Take Me Away', a soulful and introspective release that continues to showcase her distinctive blend of neo-soul warmth and contemporary R&B. Taken from her forthcoming EP, the track offers a deeply personal reflection on escape, self-reconnection, and the healing pull of nature.

Built around smooth vocals and thoughtful songwriting, 'Take Me Away' explores the emotional tension of feeling confined by urban life while longing for peace and freedom elsewhere. For Tamara, the song became a way of imagining the space she wanted to reach, both physically and emotionally.

So with the new single out now, we sat down with her to find out more about her origins and what has been inspiring her most over the years.
