Connecticut-based artist Grace Doty marks her return with her new single 'Sunset Colors'.
Blending nostalgic early-2000s pop influences with guitar-led alternative elements, the track introduces a refreshed sound shaped by both retro inspiration and modern production. Entirely created in her home studio, the artist handled writing, recording, and mixing, with additional drum contributions from Isaac Teel (TAUK) and mastering by Randy Merrill.
'Sunset Colors' explores the feeling of a deep, effortless romantic connection, using coastal imagery as a central theme. Inspired by time spent along the New England shoreline, the track carries a warm, atmospheric tone, pairing melodic hooks with a detailed, handcrafted approach to production.
The single also marks Grace Doty’s first release in several years, signalling the beginning of a new creative chapter. It serves as the opening entry in a larger conceptual project that will follow themes of love, growth, and personal change.
