Greet The Chief has returned with 'Same Planet, Different Worlds', a bold new six-track EP that pushes Gavin Davies’ gritty indie-punk sound into bigger, louder and more emotionally charged territory.
Blending distorted guitar chaos with soaring alternative rock melodies, the release captures GTC at its most energetic and fully realised to date. Across the EP, Davies balances aggressive riffs and restless punk urgency with anthemic vocal hooks and unexpected sonic twists, creating a project that constantly shifts between raw intensity and melodic warmth.
Tracks such as the fiery opener ‘Back For More’, the brass-infused ‘Fire Water’ and the genre-bending ‘Up To The Light’ showcase the project’s willingness to experiment while remaining rooted in authenticity and emotional honesty.
Based out of Giant Audio studio in Derbyshire and produced alongside longtime collaborator Dave Oliffe, Greet The Chief continues building on a reputation for fearless songwriting and uncompromising indie rock energy.
