heavyskint drop new single 'When Are You Coming For Me Jesus?'

Fresh from a packed-out headline show at Glasgow’s iconic King Tut’s, heavyskint have unveiled their blistering new single ‘When Are You Coming For Me Jesus?’, the fierce follow-up to their debut release ‘Vice’.

Produced by Arran Black (Tanzana), the track pushes the band further into shadowy territory, driven by jagged instrumentation and frontman Jacob Hunter’s visceral, unfiltered vocal performance. Where ‘Vice’ hinted at volatility, this latest release confronts isolation, emotional collapse and the realisation that healing sometimes requires looking beyond the people closest to you.

Hunter describes the song as an outpouring of desperation and clarity, written during a period of personal struggle. While guitarist Jamie Kelly calls it a defining moment for the group, marking the point where they fully committed to exploring weightier themes without compromise.

Drawing influence from Fontaines D.C., Wunderhorse and the brooding atmosphere of Pink Floyd, the Glasgow outfit are carving out their own space that feels loud, cathartic and unapologetically raw.
