After an incredible run of releases in recent years, including their 2022 single 'Ghosts' which was supported by the likes of 6Music, Radio X and BBC Introducing, Manchester-based outfit Hollows return for 2023 to deliver their soaring new delight 'Chequered'.
Channelling more of that warm and euphoric Britpop-inspired direction they are known for, 'Chequered' makes for a wonderfully engaging listen. Jam-packed with bold and effervescent textures, killer hooks, and some brilliantly catchy vocals layered throughout, they are continuing their rise as one of the more impactful names doing the rounds right now.
While these last few years have certainly cemented their legacy within the scene, 'Chequered' makes for another vital addition to their ever-growing repertoire of late. With such a strong and confident grasp over their sound and aesthetic, they are definitely ones to keep a firm eye on for the future.
