Holly Humberstone shares new single 'Cruel World'

British singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone has unveiled her new single 'Cruel World', the title-track from her forthcoming second album, which is set for release on the 10th April.

The song explores the emotional push and pull of long-distance relationships, capturing how deeply love can influence one’s perception of the world. Blending vulnerability with a sense of longing, the track reflects the conflicting emotions of joy and heartbreak that often exist side by side in relationships separated by distance.

Alongside the release, Humberstone has shared an accompanying music video directed by Silken Weinberg (known for work with Ethel Cain). Set inside a Victorian-style theatre, the visual follows Humberstone navigating a stage production while subtly disrupting the performance as it unfolds.
