After cementing themselves with a flurry of bold and engaging releases these last few years, including their 'Barstool Preaching' EP in 2020, London-based outfit Hotel Lux recently returned to deliver their timely new single 'National Team'.
Lifted from their forthcoming debut album 'Hands Across The Creek', which is set to arrive on the 27th January via The state51 Conspiracy, 'National Team' makes for a brilliantly inviting listen. Channelling more of that raw and driven post-punk-inspired aesthetic they are known for, they are continuing to establish themselves as one of the more captivating names on the rise right now.
While the football-themed outing certainly makes for the perfect anti-anthem for this year's World Cup, 'National Team' has far more longevity than most in their field. With such a fresh and appealing approach to their songwriting and production, we can't wait to hear what this new full-length has in store for us as well.
