Following up his highly-praised 2019 debut EP 'Portfolio', London-based singer-songwriter Hugo Cottu is back once again to deliver his woozy new effort 'Seventeen'.
Bringing back more of that warm and illustrious indie-folk-inspired aesthetic he first emerged with, 'Seventeen' sees him return to the fold in bright and renewed form throughout. With his rich and spellbinding vocals performance layered across a dreamlike production from start to finish, he is continuing his ascent as one of the more heartfelt names doing the rounds right now.
While it has been quite some time since we last heard any new material from him, 'Seventeen' shows that he is still brimming with plenty of fresh and dynamic textures in which to develop. With such a sweet and passionate approach to his songwriting as well, we can't wait to hear what else he has been working on during his time away.
