Written as a deeply personal message, the song reflects years of connection between the two, culminating in an emotional recording session with close collaborators.
Built around gentle acoustic instrumentation and understated vocals, 'Terry' carries a reflective tone, capturing both admiration and loss. The release holds particular significance, as the track was completed and shared with Reid shortly before his passing in 2025.
