Jake Bugg drops new single 'Oblivious'

Jake Bugg continues his red-hot 2025 with the release of 'Oblivious', a rousing new anthem taken from the upcoming deluxe edition of 'A Modern Day Distraction', out 7th November via Lovebugg.

The track marks the final unreleased cut to surface ahead of the repack, which adds four new songs to his acclaimed seventh album. Blending gritty guitar hooks with an urgent melodic punch, 'Oblivious' is a rallying cry for modern British guitar music. “We had this one finished early in the sessions,” Bugg says, “so it’s great to give it its moment in the sun.”

Following a packed-out summer run, Bugg shows no signs of slowing. With 'A Modern Day Distraction' cementing his return to politically charged storytelling and working-class grit, the deluxe edition feels like a full-circle moment, and 'Oblivious' is its fitting curtain-raiser.
