John Carpenter announces new album 'Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998'

Following on from his two 'Lost Themes' albums in the last few years, a collection of unused soundtracks from his films, John Carpenter is now about to release an ultimate compilation of his most-loved work.

A notable filmmaker of the last 40 years, Carpenter is also well-known for writing and performing the scores to each of his films. 'Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998' will include the soundtracks to some of his most memorable works including The Fog, Assault On Precinct 13, Escape From New York, The Thing, and of course Halloween.

'Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998' is set to be released on the 20th October via Sacred Bones, and you can check out the theme to his 1994 movie 'In The Mouth Of Madness' in the player and check out the tracklist below.
