Jonas Axmark shares new single 'Om ingenting rör sig'

Swedish singer-songwriter Jonas Axmark continues the rollout of his forthcoming album with 'Om ingenting rör sig' (If Nothing Moves), a thoughtful new single examining the tension between looking back and moving forward.

The song explores how cherished memories can become obstacles when they prevent us from embracing new opportunities. While acknowledging the comfort of nostalgia, his lyrics ultimately encourage us to leave room for future experiences rather than remaining anchored in the past.

Produced by Daniel Bengtsson, whose credits include work with First Aid Kit and James Yorkston, the single combines elements of power pop, Americana, rock 'n' roll and classic 1970s country into a warm, melodic arrangement that complements its reflective theme.

'Om ingenting rör sig' is the second preview of Jonas Axmark's upcoming Swedish-language album, following the duet 'Rio Grande's Shore' with Sara Niklasson. The record marks his first full-length release after two EPs and draws on the experience of a musician whose career has included work with artists such as DiLeva, Olle Ljungström, Ratata, Perssons Pack and Orup.
