Born in the Netherlands and raised on American myth, Blank’s obsession with dusty highways, neon diners, and misfit dreamers has shaped her artistry from the beginning. But 'Big Mood' sits as a reinvention of her influences to date.

From the opener 'Killing Time', she makes it clear this isn’t a simple continuation of her debut record 'Morning Sun'. Where that album leaned into sun-soaked folk, this one flirts with fuzzed-out garage riffs, vintage synth lines, and tongue-in-cheek melancholy. Its lead single 'Dinosaurs' sets the tone, delivering a shimmering, sardonic anthem that wrestles with extinction, both literal and emotional, while drenched in playful production.

But what sets 'Big Mood' apart is its emotional intelligence. She sings about love, anxiety, disconnection, and hope with the ease of someone who’s lived in a dozen lifetimes before this one. Her lyrics feel like conversations with your future self; always reflective without leaning too hard on nostalgia.
