Karenin release debut EP 'Ornithology'

Having already established themselves with a string of highly-praised outings in recent years, London / Bristol-based producer Holst (Black Pixels) and multi-instrumentalist Cannington Brook (Ead Wood) aka Karenin now return to deliver their eagerly-awaited debut EP 'Ornithology'.

Capturing a beautifully diverse aesthetic that blends elements of post-rock, electronica, folk, and midwest emo throughout, this new four-track collection makes for a wonderfully rousing listen. With its rich and immersive textures, shimmering atmosphere, and wonderfully arranged compositions from start to finish, 'Ornithology' cements the pair as one of the more captivating names on the rise right now.

While they certainly made their mark on the scene with their previous efforts, 'Ornithology' sees them build upon those initial foundations with style and aplomb throughout. With such a varied yet succinct approach to their direction as well, we can't wait to hear where they plan to take their sound next.
