After his highly-praised release 'The Waves Pt. 2' last year, Bloc Party frontman Kele has now announced his plans for a new solo venture.
Starting with the new single 'Hometown Edge', the track is the soundtrack to a late London adventure of Kele’s - a debauched night on which he allowed the city to guide him wherever it wanted to take him.
Speaking about the new offering, he said, “I realise London has been a constant source of inspiration for me as a songwriter. In my writing it's always been there on the periphery, but it felt right doing something where my love for the city was front and centre. Over the years, life in the capital has shaped who I am and what I am, so it was nice to pay homage to that.”
