Irish electronic artist and multi-instrumentalist Killian Walsh has shared ‘Let’s Play Bongos’, the latest single from his forthcoming album 'Ise' due for release on the 26th June via Ardchumhacht.
Following the introspective tone of previous single ‘Let’s Float’, the new release offers a contrasting perspective within the album’s broader emotional arc. Built around pulsing rhythms, analogue textures and an infectious sense of movement, ‘Let’s Play Bongos’ embraces the restorative power of music, community and shared experience.
Inspired by memories of outdoor gatherings, bonfires and late-night dancing, the track reflects a period when moments of joy and colour began to re-emerge following a time of personal loss. Its energetic, free-flowing character highlights his ability to balance emotional depth with immersive electronic production.
Drawing from house, techno, trance and ambient influences while incorporating elements of traditional Irish music, the single further expands the world of 'Ise'. The album itself was created during a transformative chapter in his life and documents a journey through grief, reflection and renewal.
