King Princess is back with her electrifying new single 'Cry Cry Cry', a fierce guitar-driven anthem that drips with venom and clarity. Described by Mikaela Straus as a song about a friendship between “two divas” that inevitably imploded, the track channels scorn into power, confronting fake friends, queer-baiters, and anyone who ever underestimated her.
'Cry Cry Cry' follows the announcement of her highly anticipated third studio album 'Girl Violence', set for release on the 12th September via her new label home, section1. Produced in collaboration with Jake Portrait (Lil Yachty, Alex G, Unknown Mortal Orchestra) and Aire Atlantica (SZA’s “Low”), 'Girl Violence' marks a raw, independent rebirth for Straus, written in the wreckage of industry disillusionment, personal upheaval, and a return to her New York roots.
