Toronto-based singer-songwriter KYLO has returned with her latest single 'Maybe', offering another glimpse into her forthcoming album 'The Space in Between', scheduled for release in winter 2027.
Following previous single 'Nimble', the new track marks a continued shift towards indie folk and acoustic pop, moving away from the dreamy electronic production that characterised her earlier releases. Combining delicate instrumentation with intimate vocals, 'Maybe' explores the emotional uncertainty of relationships and the hope that someone might eventually become the partner we want them to be.
The song examines the fantasies people create to sustain difficult relationships, balancing melancholic songwriting with moments of optimism and vulnerability.
KYLO's upcoming album will incorporate live instrumentation, subtle country influences and more personal storytelling, reflecting a new creative direction for the Canadian artist.
