With her eagerly-awaited new album set to land next month, Lauran Hibberd has now dropped the next cut to be lifted from her forthcoming full-length.
The new single '2nd prettiest girl (in the world)' comes accompanied by a brilliant new video, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'I Suck At Grieving', 'Mary' and 'Honda Civic' in previewing her sophomore LP 'Girlfriend Material', which is out on the 22nd March via Virgin Music.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “An unfortunate true story, does fortunately always start a good song. I went on a date last year, and was told I was the second prettiest girl in the room. I actually said thank you (I need help). I started writing this song the next day. It became my personality. This has been one of my personal favourites on my new album ‘girlfriend material’ for ages, it’s torturously relatable.”
