Canadian alt-country outfit LeBarons have made their long-awaited return with ‘Running River’, their first new material since the arrival of 2023 album 'Days Are Mountains'.
Available to stream now, the track finds the Toronto/Hamilton group steadily building from atmospheric Americana into a huge, emotionally charged rock finale. Chris MacDonald’s expressive vocals sit at the heart of the song, while a persistent rhythmic drive and spacious instrumentation gradually push ‘Running River’ towards its exhilarating conclusion.
Production comes from LeBarons bassist and Juno Award winner John Dinsmore, continuing the band's entirely independent approach, and returning with a beautifully constructed piece of alt-country that grows increasingly powerful with every passing moment.
